Jolt is a service designed to support children who struggle with the emotional challenges of tic disorders. Tics, which are repetitive and involuntary movements or sounds such as blinking, nodding or throat clearing, can lead to emotional and social issues such as bullying, stigmatisation and low self-esteem. The motivation behind this project was to address the lack of discussion and support around these struggles.

This project sought to create a service designed specifically for children, with a brand language that felt contemporary, engaging and distinguishable from others in the healthcare industry. Accessible both digitally and physically, Jolt provides support through a website as well as through informative activity booklets available in GPs and schools, ensuring children are able to get access to the support they need.
