Leah is a type-focused designer who creates work that resonates on a deeper level, often tackling subjects that are intrinsic to the human experience. Working in a person-centred and conscious way, she is driven by a passion to design for social good.
His Death explores the stark contrast between the natural process of death, the methodical milestones that everybody eventually experiences and the first-person experience that accompanies this for the living; messy, complicated, and full of emotion.

The first part looks at the process that our bodies go through when we die from a detached perspective, documenting the scientific process that bodies undergo when decomposing and the methodical steps taken during cremation. The second part is an open and honest dialogue about my own experiences in the form of milestones from my little brother’s death.

The hope is that it encourages a more open conversation about dying and grief. For in its inevitability and its capacity to shape our deepest emotions, death is profoundly human.
